Student Houses to Rent in Woodhouse, Leeds

Woodhouse sits between the north edge of the University of Leeds and Hyde Park. Postcodes flip between LS2 and LS6 depending on which side of Woodhouse Lane you're on. If you hate early-morning bus queues, this is where you rent.

Our Woodhouse student houses are on Woodhouse Street, Rampart Road, Delph Lane, Cross Rampart Street, Craven Road and the terraces backing onto Woodhouse Moor. They tend to be smaller than the Hyde Park equivalents — typically 3 to 5 beds — with more front doors opening straight onto the pavement.

The walk to the Parkinson Building is genuinely five minutes from most of these streets. Leeds Beckett's city campus is closer to 10. It's the only Leeds student area where you can honestly walk home from a 9am, from the library, or from Woodhouse Lane takeaways in less than ten minutes.

For downtime, Woodhouse Moor (the same park students call Hyde Park) is on your doorstep — outdoor gym, tennis courts, cricket in summer and the busiest disposable barbecue scene in the north come May. The University Union, Terrace and Old Bar are also a straight walk down Clarendon Road.

Rents in Woodhouse typically run £130 to £160 pppw for a 3 to 5 bed — level with Headingley, below Hyde Park, and above Burley, largely because the houses are a touch smaller than Hyde Park equivalents.
