1. Our commitment

Based in Leeds wants every student to be able to find and view a house through this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

2. What we do

• Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate pages in order.
• Descriptive alternative text on property photography.
• Keyboard access to all navigation, galleries and the viewing enquiry form.
• Visible focus states and labelled form fields with plain-English error messages.
• High contrast between text and background, and support for pinch zoom on phones and tablets.
• No auto-playing audio, and reduced motion respected where animation is used.

3. Known limitations

Some property photographs are supplied by landlords and may vary in quality. Older listings may have shorter image descriptions. We review and improve these as listings are refreshed.

4. Alternative formats

If you cannot access something on this site, we will provide property details, prices and availability by phone or email, and can arrange a viewing directly with you.

5. Reporting a problem
